GrantSolutions is pleased to announce the Department of Labor (DOL) will be joining the GrantSolutions Partnership for Grants Management Services to improve and modernize their grants processes. Onboarding activities are scheduled to begin in the 2021-2022 Fiscal Year.
The mission of the U.S. Department of Labor is to foster, promote, and develop the welfare of the wage earners, job seekers, and retirees of the United States; improve working conditions; advance opportunities for profitable employment; and assure work-related benefits and rights.

DOL supports a number of grant programs, including:
Employment and Training Administration (ETA) which administers federal government job training and worker dislocation programs, federal grants to states for public employment service programs, and unemployment insurance benefits.
Veterans Employment & Training Service (VETS) prepares America’s veterans, service members and their spouses for meaningful careers, provides them with employment resources and expertise, protects their employment rights and promotes their employment opportunities.
Mine Safety and Health Administration State Grants Program supports health and safety training courses and programs designed to reduce mining accidents, injuries, and illnesses.
OSHA provides training and education for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, and prevention of safety and health hazards in their workplaces and informs workers of their rights and employers of their responsibilities under the OSH Act.
